Wild, pristine, colorful, a hikers' and photographers' paradise - welcome to Patagonia!

Both Chile and Argentina share parts of this breathtaking region in the south of South America. When traveling there, you really get this special feeling of arriving at the end of the world, far away from what you are used to. Exploring this region by foot, with tent and backpack as well as a car during a PhotoPills expedition (which I was lucky to co-guide, along with Ramiro Torrents in April 2025) made a big impression on me. I brought back amazing memories and the finding that it wasn't the last trip to Patagonia ....
